The Downtown Wheaton Association hosts many fun events throughout the year to promote local businesses including The French Market, The Chili Cookoff, Vintage Rides, Boo-palooza (Downtown Wheaton Trick-or-Treat), A Dickens of a Christmas, Wheaton Wedding Walk and Wheaton's Wine & Cultural Arts Festival. Wheaton is also home to annual Dupage County Fair. It’s a favorite for people of all ages with a model train show, animal expo, dog shows and more.
Residents look forward to the weekly French Market which feature fresh produce, meats and flowers, live music, foodie treats, crafts, and freshly prepared delicacies from local vendors. Locals also love spending time outdoors at Cosley Zoo, Danada Equestrian Center and nearby Blackwell Forest Preserve. With access to over 52 parks in Wheaton, residents can easily something to do.
